Jihee Kim

Jihee Kim , born in Anyang, South Korea, has lived in Germany since the age of ten. In 2018, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Dance from the Folkwang University of the Arts. Since then, she has worked as a freelance dancer, performer, and choreographer. She has collaborated with renowned choreographers such as Daniel Goldin and Jean-Claude Gallotta, as well as emerging talents. Her versatility is evident in theater productions, outdoor performances, and dance films. She has created her own works, such as "Anker fällt" (Anchor Drops) with the Whole Dance Company, and collaborated on projects like "EvE" with Miriam Beike. Currently, she is exploring new movement qualities with Alberto Curci, emphasizing authenticity and improvisation to develop a unique physical language and communicate with the audience.
