Moonjoo Kim
Moonjoo Kim is a dancer and performer working in Korea and Germany. She studied traditional Korean dance at the Korea National University of Arts and completed a master's degree in movement cinematography and analysis at the Folkwang University of the Arts.
Her work combines dance, movement cinematography, and drawing to explore the body, emotions, and memory, crossing the boundaries between traditional and contemporary art.
She also participated as a member of the Free Interdisciplinary Performance Lab, led by Marina Abramović, and presented her solo performance "body print" at the Folkwang Museum in 2023. The drawings created during the performance were included in the museum's collection.
Moonjoo's artistic language moves between minimal movement and inner perception, inviting the audience to experience the world more sensitively.
